Fixing bugs is a tricky process
So now you are not alone; you are collaborating with others, say peers or clients. You are the most efficient you could be, local environment ready. Soon you realize the work consists of solving problems; some you have met before, and some are new. Ultimately, you find your system to approach a problem from the many that exist. Finding your flow is not trivial; it can save much time and usually starts by asking precise questions to which someone would want to reply.
